I've heard good things about this place and super happy to report that they're all true! The food was delicious and service was great. Except a long line and reserve a spot online beforehand but other than that enjoy the pizza!!
"Finally found my go-to pizza spot. The crust has that perfect crunch-to-chew ratio, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh, not frozen. It’s a bit of a hidden gem, however my and my Daughter loved the service they us feel like a regulars on our first visit we came right before they closed and they didn’t rush us
Pizza, But Choose Your Own Adventure! If you think pizza should only have pepperoni, Slackwater Pizzeria is here to lovingly prove you wrong. This place serves wild, creative pizzas that somehow make perfect sense once you take a bite. Every slice feels like a new level unlocked. Bonus points if your tour guide on this adventure is Rylie K, our awesome waitress, who made sure we survived the journey happy and full.
Get the hot honey and thank me later!!! My husband and I started with the artichoke dip, and now I’ll never be able to venture out and order anything else because I love it so much. Dare I say it’s the best artichoke dip I’ve ever had? We decided to order two pizzas, the California Sunrise and then the Hot Honey calzone style. The California Sunrise was really good, but the Hot Honey blew it out of the water with its intense flavor. When we go back, we’re ordering TWO artichoke dips and TWO hot honey calzone/pizzas!
Really good pizza with unique options. The BBQ was a really good and safe option for most anyone. The tikkachu was great too. Gyro pizza was good but I liked the other two better. Cubano sandwich was good.

We slipped in just prior to the restaurant filling to capacity. Clearly very popular. Worth getting off the Interstate for this restaurant. The Char-Tipped Pork Nachos was full of flavor, the Ogden River Club was on a soft ciabatta bread and was delicious (recommend the house made chips!), and the Berries and Cream Beignets were fab 👌🏼 Thank you Jake!
Hot Honey Pizza, that's all I have to say! This place is fire! Came here for lunch and did not disappoint ! 👌🔥 We all ordered pizza and everyone's pizza was amazing. They even got one of the pizzas wrong and quickly brought out another one and did not charge us for it. Atmosphere was great. You can sit inside or outside. Outside can be a little noisey because its right next to a busy street, but still worth it! Parking has plenty of room and is easy to get in and out of. All of the staff was super friendly as well. 10/10, if you haven't tried this place -- go get it!
My daughter was visiting Utah during her winter break from college, and her one request was a trip to Slackwater! We’re regulars at the Sandy location, but we hadn't visited the Ogden spot since the move. It is honestly even better than before—the space feels so much more open and inviting. As always, the food was perfect. We can never go wrong with the Check Yo' Garlic Breath appetizer and a couple of beers to start. For the main event, the Tikkachu is hands-down my favorite (ordered with no onions, extra cilantro, and extra rice). It’s so good that my husband and adult kids all ordered the exact same thing! We’ve never had a bad meal here. Highly recommend!
Pizza, sodas, and appetizers were amazing! Everything was fresh and made to order! Any pizza you can turn into a calzone! You’re also able to book a reservation online or over the phone! We were a smaller party and were seated immediately at prime lunch time! Staff were quick and attentive! Will definitely come back again!
